It can be tough to get a firm hold on meal planning and calorie counting when you have so many other things to deal with, but Mealplan will help to make this task much easier.
Before starting a meal plan it's important to have a good idea of what your fitness and nutrition goals are. Whether it's to lose weight, gain weight, build muscle or just maintain a healthy lifestyle, Mealplan can help guide you towards a plan that is best suited to your goal.
The Calories Calculator can be accessed by selecting "Meal Plan" on the bottom left hand corner of the app, then selecting "Get Your Custom Plan" at the top left hand corner. From here you can enter your gender, age, height, and weight to determine your Basal Metabolic Rate, which is the number of calories you would burn in a day without doing any exercise. The calculator will then ask a series of questions based on your current fitness lifestyle to create a meal plan with a daily caloric intake that is best suited to meet your nutrition goal. The calorie calculator is just an estimate of your daily caloric intake and it's always important to test your meal plan to see what works well for you!
Blank Meal Plan
Aside from using the calorie calculator you can also create your own personal blank meal plan if you already know what your daily caloric intake should be and the types of recipes that you like. This feature is accessed under Meal Plan on the bottom left corner, selecting "Switch" and then selecting the "New Blank Plan."

Lastly, if you do not want to use the calorie calculator but don't want to start a blank plan either, you can select one of 7 pre-made meal plans created based on a certain daily caloric intake ranging from 1300 to 2500 calories/day. This feature can be accessed again under "Meal Plan" in the bottom left hand corner, selecting "Change..." and then picking your calories.
